Terms & Conditions at IGV Maintenance LTD
1. Scope of Services
IGV Maintenance LTD ("we," "our," "us") provides property maintenance, repairs, refurbishments, and specialist services. This includes, but is not limited to:
General maintenance and repairs
Bathroom and kitchen refurbishments
Painting and decorating
Seasonal maintenance
Specialist stone, wood, and metalwork repairs
Gas and electrical services
Deep cleaning
Bespoke projects
We do not provide emergency callout services.
2. Estimates, Quotes & Payments
All estimates and quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
Upfront Payment: An upfront deposit or full payment may be required before work commences depending on the project.
Payment terms will be agreed upon before starting the project. Full payment must be made within the agreed timeframe.
Payments must be made via bank transfer or other agreed-upon methods.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Small Jobs (1–2 work days): A 24-hour cancellation policy applies. Clients cancelling within 24 hours of the scheduled start time will be charged a cancellation fee.
Larger Projects (3+ days of work): A one-week cancellation policy applies. Clients canceling within one week of the start date will be charged a percentage of the total project cost, as detailed in the agreement.
Rescheduling requests will be accommodated where possible, but availability is not guaranteed.
4. Warranty & Liability
Small Repairs: 1-year guarantee on workmanship.
Larger Projects: Guarantees range from 5 to 10 years, depending on the nature of the work. Specific warranty terms will be provided in writing for each project.
The warranty covers workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, external factors, or third-party work done after our services.
5. Access & Workspace Preparation
Clients are responsible for ensuring access to the property during agreed work hours.
If access arrangements require key collection or special coordination, additional charges may apply.
If workspace clearance (e.g., moving furniture, covering delicate surfaces) is required, we can provide this service at an additional cost.
6. Use of Subcontractors & External Contractors
We may use external contractors for certain aspects of projects, including plumbing, electrical work, and specialist services.
All subcontractors are vetted and must meet our quality and professionalism standards.
IGV Maintenance LTD remains the main point of contact for all work and guarantees the quality of completed projects.
7. Client Responsibilities
Clients must disclose all relevant information about the property and project scope before work begins.
Any changes to the project scope after work has started may result in additional charges and timeline adjustments.
Clients must ensure that any necessary permissions, approvals, or permits are in place before work commences.
8. Limitation of Liability
While we take every precaution to ensure high-quality work, IGV Maintenance LTD is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the services provided.
Any claims or disputes must be reported in writing within 7 days of project completion.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of English courts.
